Restrictions and limitations on overhead storage placement
There are some factors to be aware of as you consider getting overhead storage installed in your garage. Placement of the overhead platforms depends on ceiling joist location, as they must mount into a stud. Also be aware that shadows could be cast by partially blocked lighting, depending on where the platforms are.
